Russia Collusion Scandal (aka A Leftist fantasy)

The Moscow Trump Tower is one of the questions Mueller got a written answer to. We know Trump had to lie in that answer because he wouldnt admit to a crime. So thats lying to the FBI. I bet almost every question Mueller asked he already had proof of the answer so we might see multiple charges of lying to FBI.

I can't remember if it was McGahn or Cobb (or it could have been someone else) who did not want Trump to be deposed by Mueller in person because he was incapable of telling the truth (or being consistent).

If the Buzzfeed reporting is confirmed, Trump’s own

nominee for Attorney General acknowledged in hearings this week

that such behavior would be obstruction of justice

—which is an impeachable offense.

seems like (D) Senators knew more than the nominee

Relevant?

lmao grasping at straws much?
them not personally having the evidence doesn't mean it isn't there.
clearly the people interviewing barr the other day were aware of what evidence there is in regards to this. hence the direct questions about this kind of thing.

it's an extremely high chance mueller has the relevant evidence, wouldn't you say?
and, if he does, you agree that it is in fact obstruction of justice?
when this evidence comes out, what mental gymnastics will you pull to convince yourself this isn't a crime?

why all the lying? why all the obstructing?

these things will be revealed in the court of law, not the court of public opinion.

lol and someone sniffing trump's ass tried to claim that the FBI asking questions they already knew the answers to was a "trap."
never mind that that's literally how investigations of this magnitude *always go*. as usual, someone was just being unfair to trump.
the delusion of so many people is frightening.

anyone moderately intelligent knows trump is incapable of telling the truth. about basically anything.

And they were accommodated by having the questions submitted in writing and the answers accepted in writing. There might actually be greater risk (in terms of liability for being untruthful) when the questioning is done in the form of an open book exam of this sort. The person answering has less of a claim of being confused about the questions or unclear about the facts. The person answering has plenty of time to think about his answers and refresh his memory in various ways as to details.

chances trump tries to claim mueller forged his signature and wrote the answers for trump? the written answers are fake news? it's definitely non-zero

I agree that if true mueller has all the evidence but wouldnt yousay there have been a lot of bombshells in the past that ended up being retracted?

he does have a couple viable defenses: 1) ineffectiveness of counsel, 2) incapacity

we have to see if BuzzFeed's sourcing holds up, but suborning perjury is not a small matter...i believe Barr testified earlier this week that something like that is a crime...the proposition that it is an matter that rises to the level of an impeachable offense is not controversial...

yes, he was asked by klobuchar and also lindsey graham if this would be considered obstruction. he firmly said YES to both.
why all the lying?
why all the obstructing? what is trump trying to protect?

Lol buzzfeed

You desperate ****ing sheep

lmao phenomenal defense there.
shouldn't you be defending brock turner somewhere?
if mueller in fact has emails and/or texts proving that trump directed cohen to LIE TO CONGRESS about trump tower moscow, is that not obstruction? what do you know that Barr, Klobuchar, and Graham don't?

Michael Cohen is a problematic witness. The big question is whether there is corroboration from other witnesses and from emails and other forms of documentation.
