In the end, the Justice Dept will have to protect Trump in order to protect itself. He'll never have to face the music and the public will never know the worst of it. The powers will force Trump out by not allowing him to run for a 2nd term. Anyway, my prediction.

That would take quite an imagination. While it won't be surprising if it's true that Trump directed Cohen to lie to Congress, it will be surprising to find out that Mueller has evidence of it. But remember, it took a lot of evidence to get the search warrant to raid Cohen's office.

The 23-page indictment, signed by Mueller, alleges that Stone was in contact with a senior Trump campaign official regarding the WikiLeaks release of Clinton campaign emails.

Separately, Mueller says that from May 2017 “through at least December 2017”, Stone “corruptly influenced, obstructed, impeded, and endeavored to influence, obstruct, and impede” congressional inquiries.
