It only took 2 years because Trumps and his goons kept lying and obstructing the investigation. If they were forthcoming it could have been wrapped up in 3 months if he was innocent. A Presedential candidate asked and received help from Russia and successfully managed fo obstruct the investigation because he was President...and you are just totally fine with that......

The only thing yet to know is to what degree is OO Russia's puppet President. He seems to be a very willing asset.

The precedent that was set in 2016 is one we should reject as strongly as possible.

Imagine McGovern in 1972 trying to leverage his anti-war stance to encourage North Vietnam to find kompromat on Nixon or to throw a sweet real estate deal his way. It would be beyond disgraceful. But that's what happened in 2016.

The real story relating to Trump and Russia is that he wants to be America's Putin. There might be some corruption and criminality relating to Trump getting financial help in many ways with Russians but I think that was all unrelated to Putin. So Trump is Putin's puppet in the sense that Putin is Trumps idol.
 
and Putin wants to be Stalin.
That is how scary this is.

Here are the details about what happened with Clinesmith. He was tasked with funding out if Page was a CIA agent. He got an email from the CIA which was a little unclear because they wont outright say he was ever a source because they dont use that terminology. He added 4 words "and he is not a source" into the email believing that clarified the email not change the answer. This was for the 3rd renewal and 4th overall FISA application and by this time Paige had left the campaign.




Also the reason he was suspected was because he was a relative unknown when he joined the Trump campaign, had made visits to Moscow, and was very supportive of Putin.
