Unsurprisingly, the Blair start went south in a hurry.
Yeah, but 8 Ks and 1 bb in 5 ip looks nice.

Fried with another bad outing.

Doesn't matter when your giving up runs
Weren't they all in 1 inning? Hopefully he's slowly turning things around
No they weren't. 5 runs in 5 1/3 innings is never good. He has an era over 5 in AAA. Time to let it go.
They need to put him in high A. I am confused at how good he looked in spring training. It's so weird because he was a injury liability, but his stuff was always a no doubter.

Hold on. Did anyone see those runs?
No. What happened?
well if no one saw them, they might be fake runs
weren't there stories in spring training about Fried having some of the best stuff of all our pitchers and discussion he would soon be on the major league team
All the non braves people I read still have fried as an elite guy. Klaw said he was having issues from the stretch and used the word elite.
Fried in spring training got his hype way up. He's still coming back from tj. Sometimes those guys go through peaks and valleys. He will be in aaa next year and do well
Its a mixture of two things. Fans want to find reasons to say rebuilding with pitching is a mistake and in general fans are way to fickle with prospects. Development isn't linear.
It's also that Fried just hasn't been very good this year. Nothing wrong with pointing that out.
