Nats still have the talent to put on a run. It would be an extremely steep climb, but I am actually more concerned about them at this point than the Phillies.

The Nats have more talent than the Phillies and likely finish ahead of them but they aren't as good as the Braves

I thought the same about the Mets not starting deGrom the other day and then using in relief a pitcher Philly had hammered last game they faced him. Somehow that same pitcher survived two innings scoreless and Mets won anyway.

Some more good news. Los Angeles got beat again by Cincinnati today, helping our "Avoid The Dodgers, Play The Rockies" campaign. If the Rockies can take care of business in Arizona they will go up by 2.5 games.
