So we'll round up as generally they so say the average acceleration per second is 9 MPH. 9 MPH is equivalent to 13 feet per second. Which lets' say is true he has 1 second to react, and he's 13 feet away (We know this isn't true)
Lets say the weight of honda pilot is 4600 pounds with a passenger. Meaning he'd be hit with the force of about 8300 Newtons.
Sounds big but for reference, many punches have been recorded at hitting that hard. So yeah it's dangerous, but that's again, not what's happening because he was much closer than 10 feet.
The threat for him would much higher been being run over by the wheels than getting hit. As he wouldn't have been hit at high speeds which was the point.
