This is really a very easy and simple fix. "I wont sign this spending bill with this $5B for illegal immigrant childcare. Take it out and Ill sign it"

It’s never simple with government. My opinion has always been it has to be gradual shift and I live the direction we are headed as a country.

I actually think the mocking permeates more into the consciousness of the country and becomes a longer lasting issue.

I don’t think temporary funding is more important than that.

How much of a reduction of the federal workforce have we seen? How many federal resignations have we seen?

You take victory laps all the time and yet im seeing $80B authorized for the department of education you told me I was a fool for thinking he wouldnt shut down. This would be another spectacular reason to veto this bill

The man gets so much milage out of headlines but the actions rarely come through.

What youre telling me is that all Dems have to do is agree to some spending for immigration enforcement and in exchange they can have funding for all of their insanity. A strong president stands up to that.

I see the direction of the country. The narrative are shifting. The awareness of the people is changing along with their tolerances. All that you want is on the horizon. I’m fine if the next guy gets credit for it when it’s really trump that set this whole thing in motion.

Trump has the power to shut down fraud funding today. He doesnt need anything special to make that happen. He's choosing not to, instead to steal $5B from you and me and hand it to foreigners

I dont know how you raise your kids but if you simply tell them they are perfect and excuse away all bad behavior, thats not good for them. As voters, we should hold politicians to high standards and call them out when they are falling short. Constantly excusing away his failures just lowers the bar for him to meet

These changes take time and I’m comfortable with that. In ten years when this is all cleaned up you don’t have to thank Trump but understand without him none of it happens.

Vetoing a spending bill "doesnt take time" it was a very common practice among all presidents until Trump got in
