Curious to see who passes through the Senate for cabinet confirmations. I feel like Gaetz and Hegseth might struggle to get through.

Oh wait, Gaetz resigned immediately? Did Trump just nominate someone to be AG so he could nobly resign before his ethics investigation was released?
 
Also, all these congress people being nominated has wiped out republican majority. How long before the seats get replaced?

Trump nominated him for AG.

Everyone knows he has no chance of being confirmed. But then he immediately resigned his Congressional seat, meaning the house supposedly can't release the ethics investigation

Hard to imagine someone in Congress who’s made more enemies (including Republicans) than this guy. It will be interesting to see how much influence has over the entire party.

Rumors are that after Gaetz doesn't get nominated he gets appointed by DeSantis to take over Rubio's senate seat.

That explains why he had confidence in resigning his House seat.
