This seems so blatantly obvious. He didn't want the report released - and Trump did him a solid - a pretty intelligent one mind you. That's why he immediately resigned his seat - and it's why he's not fighting to sway the couple votes he may need to be nominated 2 months from now

I think what ended up happening was that it was clear there were a few Senators that weren't going to change their mind. Of course these same senators gleefully confirmed Garland but whatever - we are used to seeing Republicans be absolute cucks to the Dmeocrats.
Gaetz will re-emerge from this. He is incredibly intelligence, brave and bold. We have not seen the last from him.

And what reason was there not to confirm Garland. I wish he wasnt confirmed. He slow rolled investigations into Trump and bent over backwards to be fair and the right still bitched and moaned so what was the point. Trump should have been indicted within a year. Instead they gave him room to delay until after the election and now we may never get justice.

These are the same people who deny Trump asked Russia to help his campaign in 2016. Deny that Trump tried to leverage Ukraine into helping him cheat in 2016. And the same people who think Trump wasnt asking Raffensberger to commit election fraud. I could only imagine the outrage from the right if Biden was calling state secretaries demanding they give Kamala enough votes to win.
