DNI isn’t the DOD. I don’t need warfighters to have a say in who gathers intelligence.

This isn’t pro-anybody else in those roles, either. I think the Military needs to be reformed and am fine with warfighters being part of it as long as we stop killing people overseas.

But it’s clearly an aspect of war that just being a warfighter in the past isn’t something that qualifies you to determine fitness for. If they said “100 doctors” endorse Tulsi Gabbard for DNI, I’d have a similar reaction.

As with the other people in the past decade who committed such heinous political violence, I’d be careful of rushing to blame any institution or ideology. In addition to the early signs suggesting he is not just a stereotypical leftist Ivy Leaguer, there are quite literally millions of people who share anti-insurance industry views that aren’t out murdering people.

She's also chicken **** because she isn't running for reelection because of term limits. If she really felt this way she shouldn't have ran for an election in 2024 as a democrat.
