Second ('Third') Trump Presidency Thread

WASHINGTON (The Borowitz Report)—Putting a damper on Monday’s Inauguration festivities, Vivek Ramaswamy became the first casualty in what political observers are calling the survival of the ****tiest.

As the first passenger to be ejected from Donald J. Trump’s clown Cybertruck, Ramaswamy was required to relinquish his parking pass, security badge, and Trump Bible.

Speaking to reporters, Elon Musk put the best face on Ramaswamy’s abrupt departure from the Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE), asserting, “DOGE’s mission is to cut waste, and at the end of the day, no one was a bigger waste than Vivek.”

"He won't build the wall"

Trump gets a lot of mileage out of announcements of his intentions. As we saw in term one, actions didn't always follow the rhetoric.

I hope he follows through this time. I'm certainly more optimistic after day 1 than I was... but just saying that a lot of times the Trump team on Twitter portray what he says he intends to do as him having done it

Great - This is the beginning down the path of understanding. Term 2 will be one for the record books

It's being reported Trump will pardon Ross Ulbricht on the next few days. Someone actually worthy of it. Probably should get clemency instead but his life sentence was absurd. Soni will give Trump credit for that. Now if he can just pardon Edward Snowden then fire anyone working in government who complains about it.

I think it’s unfair some people have to do manual labor while many government employees do not. I think the most efficient way to run the federal government is for all employees, regardless of the function they perform, to carry a set of boulders from one side of the office to the other and back for several hours before they can log into a workstation.

Democrats are such a clownshow - 26 midterms will be a massive wipeout

LOL - I see you're doing well in day 2 of the golden age.

Those consequences are jail - UNLESS Mr. Smith knows something that may be useful.

Just rememvber that 'failing us' means he didn't illegally throw Trump in jail and therefore preventing the American people from getting their duly election president (for the second straight election).
