I dunno, sounds like a question for Californians to answer.
A tyrant!
For asking the state to check ID for election. Damn bro - that’s Stalin level tyranting here!
For using a wildfire to push a purely political agenda.
The wildfire primarily caused by incompetence.
Seems like trump is just defending Californians.
Who is to say California will actually use disaster relief funds properly. How much did they spend on homelessness again?
Trying to wriggle out of disaster relief for Californians is a weird way to do that.
I can’t imagine how someone could actually not want change and lack the concept of leverage.
A Californian might think. It’s just voter ID. Why is it hard to commit to that so we can get help.

It’s hard to know these days
Honestly I find this to at least be a good argument. I disagree, in part because I think as long as we even bother to have a federal government, taking care of its citizens in times of desperate need is like the number one thing it should do, but I understand your position.
Maybe the California Republican Party should do a better job of engaging voters in the state. Or tie voter ID laws to any number of federal programs that aren’t for people who lost their ****ing homes in a wildfire.
This is especially rich given that the state of California essentially funds federal programs for almost every red state.

While my company employees are literally crying about the change, I'm laughing my ass off and demanding our product team expedite by the end of the weekend to ensure compliance
