I could name a few, but one thing I won’t be doing this morning is hashing out whether or not the news channel that sends out Sean Hannity, Laura Ingraham, Jesse Watters and Jeanine Pirro each evening shows some sort of bias toward Trump.
Lemme hop in my Time Machine real quick to February 2021 and tell you to cool it on criticizing Biden because an even larger majority of people were clearly buying what Joe Biden was selling. Or we can take a trip back to the Obama years, where that number was even higher! Or the Bush Admin or Clinton or the other Bush…
I’m seeing a lot of sentiment regarding “telling the executive branch what to do” rather than any discussion of the legal merits of the judge’s ruling. Seems telling that they’re comparing it to a situation where it might be legally dubious such as military operations rather than pointing to statutory evidence.
As we all know, conservative media would *never* spin anything Trump is doing as more important, legal or effective than it really is.
The 'legal merit' is completely ancillary to the process because that is not actually why they are bringing it up. Its plain as day but Vance makes a good point either way and from what I'm seeing this type of challenge was expected and the hope is the SC emphasizes the supremacy of the executive branch in how they administer executive duties.
It’s a district court making a temporary ruling to pause something that might be illegal. The legal merit isn't ancillary, it’s the only point. If a challenge were expected, it’s because there are statutes suggesting it’s illegal. You had a much different thought process on it when it was student loan forgiveness.
You’re literally just describing exactly what I’m describing with a different tone. Conservative media is *at best* the inverse of NBC/CNN. They attack everything the left does, celebrate what the right does and pushes an agenda that their viewers will like. Just because you like what you’re hearing doesn’t make it more fair and balanced.
I didn’t admit anything, I used overly ambiguous language in a message board post. This federal judge hasn’t shut down DOGE, he made a ruling that said we need to pause these steps that were openly legally spurious to begin with until the case can be evaluated fully by the courts.
Keep in mind, Fox is by far the least extreme of the outlets I’m referring to, but still ****ing lol.
