People send prayers to Trump because he is one of the most consequential figures in human history.
People acknowledge that what happened in Butler isn't just dumb luck and is part of Gods plan.

Trump is clearly a skilled politician who understood the landscape of American politics. I won’t take that from him. But he also benefits from a large portion of his base explaining away any failure of his as part of a larger future plan we’re just too stupid to understand. Credit where it’s due to Trump, he cultivated that base to do so, but typically politicians are not rewarded with blind loyalty. That used to be reserved for political parties.

As you prefer it*. Western civilization is fine. Some elements of it just don’t jive with how you want it. Trump is working to save your vision of America and the West, but about half the country thinks differently about many issues.

For someone as invested in geopolitical trends as you often are, it’s shocking that you haven’t picked up on the fact that the past few years have been a bad one to be an incumbent party in. Many fewer Americans are buying your vision than you think, and many more just thought Trump could make prices go down.
