Why even bother extending it at this point? The federal government has already collectively just decided to ignore the very law they just passed themselves. We’d might as well just write “redacted” on it and call it a day.Aww how kind of him. IT WAS ALWAYS ABOUT CHINA!!!!!
Nah only Trump is ignoring US law to protect China propaganda interestsWhy even bother extending it at this point? The federal government has already collectively just decided to ignore the very law they just passed themselves. We’d might as well just write “redacted” on it and call it a day.
This isn't a Trump issue.
Honestly I don’t buy this, but wouldn’t it be grand if we could instead place the decision to start a war with perhaps a body of elected officials from every corner of the country who could deliberate and vote on such involvement in a conflict. Why didn’t the founders think of such an option?
I’m holding out hope that this particular House’s brazen unwillingness to take even the tiniest bit of responsibility for public policy results in electoral consequences. This isn't a Trump issue.
But the congress has given up their authority on pretty much everything. I don't understand what their purpose is anymore
One thing im very curious about on these massive spending bills is who is actually writing them.I’m holding out hope that this particular House’s brazen unwillingness to take even the tiniest bit of responsibility for public policy results in electoral consequences.
Nah I like to know how my sausage is made. I want to know what cuts of meats, spices, what's the water content, what kind of casing. I want all the info on my sausage. (you're welcome)If you eat sausage you don't want to know the details of how it is made. Same with legislation. I believe the most objectionable aspect is that lobbyists of firms affected by the legislation sometimes submit the wording for the sections that affect them. Otherwise, it is mostly done by staff, who on capitol hill are fairly good at what they do.
Re: acquiring GreenlandNot much coercion needed when the actual people of the country want to be part of the US.
It’s a curse being right all the time. Sorry guys.
