Believed what? That Trump lunged at his SS driver? Who cares? Why does it even matter? You want to argue about whether he was jaywalking on his way to rob a bank. Its a minute detail that has very little bearing on anything. Do I believe Hutchinson lied? No. She is a lifelong Republican serving in Trumps White House. Why would she lie? Do I believe the two SS people she claimed to hear it from would lie about it if Trump lunged? Yes. What mattered in all this was whether Trump intended to go to the insurrection in person.I f she was going to make it up theres a lot more damaging things she could have claimed. Maybe she was told Trump wanted to grow a Hitler moustache. Maybe he was doing satanic rituals in the car. But lets play devils advocate for a second. If everyone involved admitted it happened. What changes. The case still never makes it to trial. It wouldnt have even been allowed in the trial unless the defense brought it up.
