Second ('Third') Trump Presidency Thread

Christ, this forum is exhausting when MAGA and Sturg get to team up on a topic. Just the most self-righteous “how dare you” bullshit.

Suicidal empathy must be admonished at all turns. It’s caused our great society across the western world to degrade to the mess it is now.

Also those that are dovish on immigration but that’s for another day!
Sure. I think empathy is a double edged sword. But I kinda think y’all are strawmanning mqt here. I’ll take him at his word that the policies he’d support would have resulted in this guy off the street (I’d separately argue that his policies would be an enormous waste of money and ineffectual).

But Jesus Christ it’s three pages of y’all personally holding mqt responsible for this woman’s death lol. I have a different world view from mqt but he’s at least reasonable.

That video has sparked an anger in me I dont think I've ever felt

The violence of the animal. The innocence of the victim. The complete apathy of the losers sitting there observing.

When George Floyd died my city was lit on fire.

When Nicholas sandman smiled there was national outrage.

The libs on the board too apart in those.

Today? All we get are stats about blue cities being safer than red ones, and begrudgingly admissions that "i dont support bus stabbings and think violence is bad"

Im just so sick of the left and they're enabling of this, while simultaneously being lectured for a decade that my whiteness is the real problem

People of his ilk are responsible for this.

Mqt would have this guy in a mental hospital.

You would have had him publicly executed.

Both would have resulted in this innocent woman not dying.

I personally am probably closer to your version of justice than mqt, but he’s not at fault here

He says that he wants him in a mental institution. Then the guy gets a lawyer crowd funded and we start hearing about how hard his life has been being black. Then all of a sudden life with possibility of parole after ten years is what he would settle on.

We all know it. Pretending otherwise is just silly b

Public safety for or against ?

Unfettered immigration for or against ?

These are two fairly black and white issues that people could easily base their whole vote on. I’m not sure what else to take away from it other than they don’t want safety if they vote lib

It’s plain sight how damaging liberal policies have been and yet their vote doesn’t change.

If after all this- what would?

I agree with chop that the blaming of D voters is overkill, but to sturg’s point, hopefully voters will question the wisdom and judgement of politicians who’s first instinct after these murders is to rush to a mic to lecture us on why we should not villainize mentally unstable “unhoused” people and why we cannot arrest our way out of these situations. I can’t imagine how that instinct resonates with more than a sliver of the electorate.

It shows there isnt an issue whatsoever (as these are core elements of government that Ds are ingorant toward) that would have these voters change their minds.

They’d rather their loved ones be unsafe than someone with an R beside their names clean up the crime. Which is intentionally putting others in harms way for their own “gain”. It’s gross.

Talk about cultish. I don’t wish death on anyone but you see it here from the Ds both intentionally and unintentionally all the time.

I think the only reason they feel safe enough to keep ignoring it is it hasn’t affected them.

They are making life worse for their children. Can’t imagine a stronger indictment of the type of people they are.
