For what it’s worth, this is a gazillion percent a both sides issue. Tough on crime policies can paradoxically affect charging practices in the same manner, as after a certain point, it’s expected that crime actually goes down. Causes the same behaviors.

The issue is the cops. Don’t mistake my earlier complaint about the new messaging about big city cops to be an actual defense of big city cops. They are going to regularly be abusive, corrupt and against the public interest. Whether that’s due to leftists or right-wingers, until we stop militarizing police and incentivizing the manipulation of numbers in either direction, this shit is going to happen.

We disagree. If my boss tells me to do some stupid stuff I can do it or get fired. But if he tells me to do some immoral stuff, then I can do it or get fired. If he tells me to do some illegal stuff then I have options. Screw the Page and Strzok types who think they have some solemn duty to RESIST!!! because they’re in theit feelings over the historic candidate losing the election. Screw them. Screw. Them. Do your damn job.

People like them did all they could during the 45 administration to thwart the will of the voters (insurrection anyone?) and are responsible for a lot of the high handedness of the 47 administration. They didn’t get elected so they don’t need to represent the will of the voters or their golf club or whoever it is that has them feeling high and mighty. They need to do their damn job. That’s all.

In general we should all support the Bill of Rights being interpreted in the way that is most restrictive of government. That is the spirit it was written in. If flag burning is illegal today because some of us don’t like it then wearing a maga hat could be illegal in 4 years for the same reason. I have no use at all for the flag burners, but this is a terrible idea by Trump that he needs to step back from or be dragged back from.

I'm for a pre-emptive strike against the communists because if not when they take permanent power its not good for those that were against them in the first place.

All I'll say, as I've said repeatedly, thank God for Trump and how he broke through the plan to make us a communist state with endless third world migrants.
