You have every right to drive on a public road in america unless it's been closed for a reason that's acceptable. ICE is not that reason.

Babbitt was part of an angry mob descending on the capital. For every reason you can say the officer in that scenario reacted, he reacted to someone who didn't belong there, someone who could have been viewed as a threat (how was he to know she wasn't armed or when she got through someone wouldn't pass her a weapon etc.) an overreaction carried some form of threat to it. As opposed to based on eyewitness accounts, ICE trying to get a woman out of her car and her trying to escape said scenario.

I would equate the latter to if someone walked up to my car and tried to forcibly open the door shoudl I just let them or get out?

And they don't want that to be the story. they want to find any reason to justify said killing. Noem called it domestic terrorism, there's nothing domestic terrorist about ti. I think it’s a bit more nuanced than this. Again, I think the officers appeared to be overly aggressive in their approach to her, and that the officer that shot her acted recklessly by putting himself in front of the vehicle when he had ample time to not do so. She would have been able to drive away without the way ICE handled the situation, and instead they acted unsafely. Given that the officer was able to not get hit while also shooting at her suggests to me that he absolutely should have just focused on moving out of the way and a woman wouldn’t have lost her life.

But I also don’t think you have the right to drive your vehicle toward a pedestrian as she did. It’s plausible that she was distracted by the agent to the side of her car as she began to accelerate, but it’s still your own personal responsibility to drive safely and she did not do so. It’s not domestic terrorism and I don’t think she was intending to run anybody over, but her own actions contributed to the situation.

She was protesting them all day. She was actively hostile towards the ICE officers. They had every right to believe this was esacalting throughout the day. We have history of federal officers being attacked by lunatic democrat activists.

She was starting at about a 90 degree angle as she was trying to get around an ICE vehicle int he road. She turned her wheel to get around the ICE vehicle. The Pig was in danger but she wasn't trying to hit him.

The car revved while the wheels were pointed directly towards the ICE officer. The only reason she didn't run him over was because there was no traction on the ground....retard
