It’s standard practice man - if someone attempts to hit you with their car and drives off they are a danger to everyone. How was she a risk to the whole community?
Speak to a police officer.

I am friends with a few cops. Not a single one of them would say what you're saying. It’s standard practice man - if someone attempts to hit you with their car and drives off they are a danger to everyone.

Zito - if a random person shoots their gun at a police officer and they run away do the police officers chase them or let them go?
My guess is that you are not:I am friends with a few cops. Not a single one of them would say what you're saying.
I’ve been open about the fact that think the shooting was more justifiable than others are willing to accept, but this is silly. There’s no evidence to suggest that she intended to run over an officer, and certainly no evidence that she would do so to others. While it’s reasonably fair to suggest the officer reached out of fear for his safety, he certainly was under no legal or moral obligation to shoot her.Once she accelerates towards the officers she becomes a risk to the whole community and it’s their obligation to stop her.
Your expectation of what an officer should do in a life or death situation is to say the least - retarded.
There is literally video of her accelerating into a human beingI’ve been open about the fact that think the shooting was more justifiable than others are willing to accept, but this is silly. Not really reasonable to claim she did either given the sparse knowledge we have.Zitos whole POV is he did this on purpose

Do we know if she was looking at him rather than the officer to her side she appeared to be fleeing from? There is literally video of her accelerating into a human being

It is very clear what her intent was....
That’s not how the law works.
I don’t think he has the authority to do this.
If this goes through and the Democrats get 10M less votes what does that tell us?
I don’t think he has the authority to do this.
We cannot just look at the direction of the car as irrefutable proof when it was also pointed toward her exit route. It doesn’t excuse her actions, but we cannot see where she was looking or prove anything definitively. To suggest she was doing a cold-blooded murder is absolutely speculating. How does it work then?
Because when the video is analyzed what will be determined is the car was pointed directly at the officer and this woman hit the gas.
