Its worked great for Europe as their population has enjoyed the benefits of not having to worry about defending itself...until now...

Not really. You do realize a healthy chunk of US "empire" is propping up the MIC.

But throw that out. If we pull out all our military spending or Trump decides to piss off every major power in the world, the dollar will stop being the standard.

I suggest you research a bit
