Second ('Third') Trump Presidency Thread

Its worked great for Europe as their population has enjoyed the benefits of not having to worry about defending itself...until now...

Yes, European countries are famous for their desire to have US blood and treasure defend them, while they instead spend their money on free healthcare, 32 hour work weeks, early retirement, etc. The US has held the expenses of an empire for 80 years now, without any of the economic benefits that every other empire throughout history has extracted. It’s past time Daddy demands some sugar.
What the fuck is this?

It’s a pretty self explanatory post. Someone reasonably aware of US and international affairs should be able to fully understand it without any other context.
Not really. You do realize a healthy chunk of US "empire" is propping up the MIC.

But throw that out. If we pull out all our military spending or Trump decides to piss off every major power in the world, the dollar will stop being the standard.

I suggest you research a bit

BRICS has tried and failed thus far to 'de-dollarize' teh world. Majority of all activity is still in dollars and it isn't close.

France is a shithole. Soon to be a Muslim majority nation with nukes. I’d much rather ally with Russia. I don’t see any benefit of an alliance with France at this time.

We should be do in everything possible to disarm Western Europe while we still can.

Would you support liberating France?

What will be funny is in the history books they'll talk about how great of an idea it was to acquire Greeland and there will be little to no talk about the 'tact' that was taken.

No - They made their bed. The only way to remove Muslims that grow to this percentage in your country is for an internal rebellion.

My preference would be to completely exit any agreements with western europe and their fascist leadership. If there situations change then I'm open to it but the shift to central/eastern europe is the future.

Russia is radioactive as long as Putin is in charge and probably will be under the next guy. Eastern Europe is the play. Aligning with them is easier because they don’t like the EU or Russia, actually have militaries, and aren’t as far down the Islamic conversion rabbit hole. Friends in South America, Eastern Europe, Great Britain, Iceland, East Asia, Australia, and the Middle East retains world wide access and drops a lot of the BS commitments that provide little besides expense.

GB is a travesty right now. I'd rather not exit from our parent country but whats going on there is shocking.

I still think we can be friends with bad people as long as they are aligned mostly with Judeo/Christian values.

Its going to be imperative that we de-couple Russia from China and if that means uncomfortable relationships with a tyrant then so be it.

it is worth noting that countries like Poland and the Czech Republic worked quite hard to qualify for EU membership...they all underwent deep, ambitious, and often challenging political, economic, legal, and institutional reforms to meet the EU's Copenhagen criteria for membership

no one put a gun to their heads to do this...they did it out of self-interest

as for Australia, I will rely on anecdotal impressions from a recent visit...they are not impressed with what is going on here...to put it mildly
