Helluva trade. I'd have been content with Incarte and Swanson. To get Blair as well is just icing on the cake.

I think the D-Backs smell blood in the water and felt they needed to go all in while their core is still at their peak. They still have a good overall hitting team and will likely add OFer in FA (I'm guessing Gordon). At this juncture, the Dodgers are noticeably worse and the Giants still need some help. Not so sure Shark will be all that big of a difference maker for them.

I think it's more likely we see them teaming up at SS/2B in some way. No idea which guy plays which position tho.

I guess it depends who rates better defensively but Swanson played 2B in college and was drafted with SS upside.

We won't know until he plays this year. I imagine he'll start in A or A+ with the goal to move him pretty quickly. I would look to 2016 for him to have a chance to break camp in the bigs.

Blair should be in rotation to start season, no? His MLB pipeline scouting report sounds very promising
