I’ve never water fasted before. Like striker, I lost 50 pounds just by eating better, eating less, and exercising more. But, I’m not quite sure what’s so wrong with water fasting. It sounds like it’s no different than any other kind of fasting. Anything has to be better than using chemicals to artificially boost your metabolism or lower your appetite.Diet is obviously the most impactful way to lose weight. The mistake so many people make is exercising without cutting calories—in fact, many add to their caloric intake, when they begin exercising in earnest, not realizing how hard it is to actually burn calories / operate at a caloric deficit (not to mention how many of those calories they were already burning just by being alive).
But calorie-counting is far different from buying into hare-brained gimmick fasts by culty influencers.
