So, Sarah Palin screws up a speech

She definitely is trolling on purpose, but she's also completely serious if that makes any sense. She means what she says, but she definitely wants to enrage the left. A lot of what she has to say is great, but some is a bit over the top to me.
 
I am still trying to figure out who stood up for her on this board. I called her a whore mongering c...t when she ran. I still think she is, but she is doing a marvelous troll job on the libs. But in fairness Biden is on the same boat, just a tad bit more intelligent but gaff a minute comes out of his mouth like it is running water from a faucet.

I don't agree with this though: "I love her." The other parts of the post were awesome and outweighs this ludicrous line but on the other side, he might be referring to her troll job she is doing to you all, which I would agree with.

Oh, I thought you meant people on here. Well their are 4M idiots with even more idiots with the 1M Twitters. I only know two that defended her, one doesn't post much, the other is the opposite of you, defend your side till your death bed no matter how wrong you are.

To my mind stating what you just did would qualify you as a "follower". Or, maybe "follower" is the wrong term. We use "follower" for Ayn Rand syncophants.
In this case perhaps "enabler" is more apt

Shoot - well thought of supposedly reasonable posters defended her targeting Gabby Giffords

You probably have access to that board, I don't think I do. Besides, last I checked all the posts have been nuked by Paddio. I am moderating on another Scout site but that still does not give me access to the Atlanta's site regardless of my status.

I am pretty sure Sturg voted for Paul and I voted for myself and my daughter for VP. We did not have any good choices then and we don't have any good choices now.
 
All the stupid things Palin had said/done, and you've brought up the Gifford's target thing twice? That was a faux story from day one.
 
Her incarnation after her run for office seems pretty transparent to me—she's in the enriching Sarah Palin business. She has a schtick which is cloying but crudely effective. It's like she found a grade-school hagiography of Reagan and had a semi-literate meth-addled teenager translate it into cornpone soundbites for her. Her schtick is kinda comically afwul, but it doesn't enrage me. The fact that she gets a platform for it is pretty distressing, though.

I don't think so nor did the conservative intelligentsia . Probably run a graph of her popularity and my guess is that would be the tipping point where thinking (R) people began to be doubters.

Sure it was probably innocent on her part. But, not understanding the position of leadership she was anointed to -- it was a terribly irresponsible at it's worse and tone deaf to a fault.
To compare her and her verbal musings to Biden - one only has to look at this example.
Tell me Ace -- what other political figure put bullseyes on the backs of sitting Congresspeople in this day and age ?

After her explosive campaign of 2008 where some of the rallies got down right ugly -- how out of touch does one have to be to think a stunt like this is acceptable ??

Faux story indeed - pretty much Palin and her's in a nut shell
