Some Red State/Blue State Indicia

also

out of the top 10 states

8 are states that went blue in the 2020 election

I don’t know any list that ranks cities and where they rank but will give it a look to compare dc to others

Only seen state by state break downs and district is ranked in there

Thus how I know they aren’t last

Side note since you worry about my twitter followers. The guy you think I love to follow, I don’t

I do follow Andrew Sullivan though. Been a fan of his for years now.

Anyway, would like a break down of cities and distribution if we have it. Would be fun to see

I like Sullivan too.

I dont know about rankings but I know NYC, Chicago, and DC have all been miserable in getting out their vaccines.

California as a whole has been dreadful so I'm sure their cities are also lagging.

For all you Andrew Sullivan fans out there

"We then witnessed the first violent transfer of power in American history..."

"But don’t ****ing tell me I should have voted for Trump. He’s insane. And he made this left triumphalism possible, by destroying the vestiges of fiscal conservatism in the GOP."

Andrew makes points I have made here for some time. credibly accused creepy joe is going to govern to the left of Obama, maybe well to the left. very poorly chosen is a very consequential president but not in the sense his fans seem to think. His legacy is going to be a big lurch to the left.

Astute observations from Sully:

It is so telling that Republicans have barely made any of the fiscal arguments I just cited — because they don’t have a leg to stand on. If they bring up the danger of debt, they deserve to be laughed and/or booed off the stage.

And the GOP beyond and before Trump made this sharp left turn possible by their long refusal to see how dangerous the soaring inequality of the neoliberal era actually was and is; by choosing a vast transfer of wealth to the already rich as their primary goal in the last two GOP administrations; and by fumbling the immigration question, when they could have made a deal under Trump. And in that respect, Biden’s radicalism is not without reason. Or purpose. We desperately need a correction.

Liberal democracy itself is threatened by the extreme gulf between rich and poor — and rebalancing this is vital. The lack of real economic gains for the vast majority for decades requires a major adjustment — and if sending people checks is the easiest way to do this, so be it. The resilience of low inflation and the persistence of a financial crisis recession suggests that a bigger stimulus in 2009 would have been preferable. Finding a way to support greater inclusion of minorities and women in every sphere of life and work is the right thing to do. Expanding healthcare to those most excluded it from it should not be a controversial question. In all these areas, the Democrats have their hearts and minds in the right place. A shift to the left in 2021 is completely defensible. Even the British Tories are economic lefties now. My 1980s self would look at my 2021 politics and be amazed how far I’ve come.

But a capitulation to the far left is something else.

I still hold out hope that the center will hold. That there is meaningful legislation that will be moved on a bipartisan basis outside of the reconciliation process. We'll see. Sully is less optimistic on that score than I am.

This is the most naive of takes.

The communist mob has completely taken over. And now useful idiots like you support lockdowns of humans while staying silent while the majority power wants to end filibuster

I'd say its quite relevant to describe someone who has gotten every major issue wrong over the last 4 years.

A clear thinking individual could self reflect and adjust but that has not happened. You're naive to your own naivite.

First sentence in first post of "Is very poorly chosen one a secret agent for the left" thread:

It seems to me he is acting as an accelerant for many of the changes his base fears. After the elections this fall, the Dems are likely to be in a position to enact some fairly profound changes to our economic and social order.

If the Marxists take over America it will be 99% due to the efforts of very poorly chosen one. Credit must be given where credit is due.

with each passing day it becomes more apparent that the answer to the question raised in this thread is yes!

He's a triple agent for QAnon, The Deep State Left and Soviet Empire.
