There is an expectation this will be a major event. With "solar eclipse tourists" from outside the solar eclipse region travelling for the experience.

I was in Atlanta for a partial eclipse a few years ago. The client I was visiting actually set some time aside in the middle of our meeting for all of us to go on the roof to see it. They had special equipment and all that. But I think that one was just a partial eclipse.

Wanna be a little more specific. All I can find is stories on an Chinese citizen being indicted in California that had an illegal lab but that can't be the same case since you imply that nothing was done about it.

atlanta was like 96% full eclipse

wasn't in the path of totality

we went up to Dillard to the path of totality. it was amazing

gonna travel to Texas I think for this one to be in the path
