Some Red State/Blue State Indicia

There is a novel called Snow Crash (not Snowflake mind you). It describes a future in which there are only two type of workers. Those who write code and those who deliver pizza to the code writers. It is a good read.

Like all commie ****holes... the rich live large, and the poor (apparently) live in tents a
Surrounded by human shlt and needles

well...i'm gonna have to remind you that according to libertarian ideology it is up to the poor and homeless to lift themselves up by their bootstraps (+grit, determination, self discipline, willpower, and whatnot)

don't tell me you are a bleeding heart all of a sudden

whatever happened to the American belief in self-responsibility...all California is doing is telling the mentally ill to take care of themselves...i would have thought this would meet with approval in libertarian circles

I can tell you a libertarian wouldn't mandate policies that result in droves of tents and needles

A libertarian wouldn't do rent control. A libertarian wouldn't regulate energy. A libertarian wouldn't shut down the economy over the scary virus. A libertarian wouldn't force gig economy workers into buying a Tesla. A libertarian wouldn't wouldn't tax people into oblivion.

A believer in self responsibility would ask the homeless to get off their asses.

I’ve heard this board doesn’t do nuance well.

It’s that reason that some people don’t understand why migration to cities the last fifty years is completely different than what the next fifty will bring.

the homeless need to follow the example of this woman, who earns a decent living using her legs and lungs...no college education required...no electricity required

y'all need to start showing more concern for the rich, who have to pay such high taxes

Don't worry... Newsomes $12B homeless plan, or $75K per homeless person, is certainly the better answer!

he needs to cut that **** out...that way more of them will move to Arkansas, whereupon they will no longer be homeless

I think California leading the country in poverty, homelessness, and people fleeing the state is an incredible accomplishment.

The only measure that makes your boy Cuomo look good

California is like a 32 year old first basemen coming off of a HOF first 11 years and getting a massive contract. Its all downhill from here on forward.

I suppose HGH is an option but it’s unlikely the state turns red ever again.

It also boosts the self-esteem of folks in red states. Win-win.

Why you bringing Fredito into this conversation. AA has shown his genius by NOT extenting him.

It only took less than 30 years to destroy one of the best places in the world.

Just a couple decades of liberal policy got us here.

They are done.

See, Canada

Even with all their massive advantages California is still crumbling. It’s incredible how disastrous progressive policies can be in a real world setting.

Venezuela was even faster.

I truly can't believe what is happening in Canada today.

Thankfully red states leadership peer pressured Newsome into capitulation next month...

I remember when he said Texas was absolutely reckless.

I guess that apology ain't coming, huh

If not for the recall none of this change in California would happen.

If not for the disaster that is the economy the cdc wouldn’t have changed their guidance.

All politics. No science.

i'm not the one blaming guvner newsom...i think the homeless should learn a little self sufficiency

Why do you think there is so much despair in California?

I know your shtick is to post something about bootstraps now... but here's an opportunity to get something right for once
