Maybe by him building stopped but people are dying to get out of Manhattan and the inner boroughs. Not sure that news gets to you in whatever west Chester town you live in where the common man can’t afford to buy.

Sounds to me rich people are dumping their gains before an expected tax change.

The migration pattern is for young well-educated people to move into California and old less well-educated to move out.
Those well educated people will eventually be in all exclusive communities well guarded by walls and police. Otherwise the cesspool cities will drive them away. And now with WFH the biggest draw for these cities are gone.

The great thing is this migration of older less well-educated folks from California to Texas increases the average IQ of both states. Win-win! Same thing when sturg moved from Virginia to Texas. The average IQ rose in both Virginia and Texas.

Nobody is saying 100% but there will be a significant reduction in on site employees moving forward. That is going to have cascading impacts across the nation. My company just had a conference with WFH a big topic. The idea now is the prioritize talent and not proximity.
