Some Red State/Blue State Indicia

College football championship - red state

College basketball championship - red state

College baseball championship - red state

Bragging about winning championships on the back of slave labor (until just a week ago) checks out for being in brand

As the great Charlie Daniels once said, the South's gonna do it again:

Which one of those groups would be the best set up for success?

The west coast has one state that is one of the largest economies in the world and would stop sending a lot of money to prop up ****ty states that claim they hate socialism

They would be just fine

The lust and allure of civil war from republicans is by far the scariest and strangest thing about them

I’m making a statement about the oddness of a select few who romanticize civil war in this country

Wasn’t really related directly to your post but the other stuff was

The US absolutely needs to split up. I dont think it needs real actual succession. The US is too big to have one giant federal government making the same laws for people from Oregon to Maine to Florida to Texas. A of people want different laws in their area but cant because of rules and regulations that are federal.

Sign me up for the South.

That would instantly become the 'happiest' region. I'm sure other areas will perform better economically as defined by a theoretical science that often misses human element issues.

I'm not for this plan at all; but as long as Texas and Florida came along, I think the south would be fine. Oil and food are covered.

ETA... since the debt was taken on in DC, I think it's only fair that region keeps it lol

I still prefer the idea of sovereign states with a federal government that only handles foreign relations and interstate commerce. It's a crazy idea, I know, can't recall where I came across it first...

Since that seems impossible, Balkanization is likely the best alternative to hope for. Regardless, more people in favor of splitting up means more people in favor of decentralization and rolling back the power that DC has grabbed. That's a trend I hope to see continue.

at the rate the rebel states are moving concerning covid there wont be any one left to farm the crops.
you might want to look at immigration policies --- as to who actually does the farming in Florida/Georgia/ Alabama /Mississippi.etal

As far as oil and gas, are you not paying attention to the earth moving from fossil fuels faster than one can say " oop boop a doo"
