Well I guess hes willing to make certain spending cuts
Good luck, NYC
His failure needs to be spectacular, we don't need to see idiots like him on the national stage

It is also worth noting that converting the income growth to per capita income growth would amplify these trends. The Bureau of Economic Analysis today released data on income growth in 2024 by state. Some noteworthy results:
California up 5.3% (highest)
North Dakota down 2.2% (lowest)
Other high performers: Washington (5.0%), North Carolina (4.4%), Massachusetts (4.3%), Oregon (4.2%), Connecticut (4.2%)
Other low performers: Montana (-1.2%), South Dakota (-0.3%), Michigan (-0.1%), Nebraska (0.1%), Utah (0.1%)
Adds to the pattern of divergence that has been observed in recent decades. Richer states (with longer-lived residents) pulling further ahead of poorer states (with shorter-lived residents). From the end of the Civil War to the 1970s we saw convergence. Now we are seeing divergence. In all sorts of metrics, covering health, educational and economic outcomes.
stock options are included in income... obviously the rise in companies like Nvidia and Meta, etc is going to boost incomes massivelyIt is also worth noting that converting the income growth to per capita income growth would amplify these trends.
