Some Red State/Blue State Indicia

Got folks in SF trying to pass laws that govern car speeds while the city is unaffordable and drug addicted homeless **** all over the sidewalks.

Got folks in Chicago voting on international ceasefires while bodies pile up in their own streets.

Got folks in NYC classifying social media use as “environmental waste” while students are kicked out of their own schools to make room for hordes of illegal migrants.

Is this the move under late-stage progressive rule? Let’s waste our time on idiotic virtue signaling and useless proclamations regarding issues that are irrelevant and/or don’t fall under our purview because we simply have no answers for the actual problems facing our cities (most of which we created)?

It is embarassing to continue to cast your vote for such. I can't fathom a leftist policy that has actually improved society in the last 8 years.

What's so disheartening is that they easily continue to win elections.

The politicians are a perfect representation of their people

i asked a question.

and please give a detailed answer not a rally slogan

By introducing competition and accountability into a system that right now has neither.

It may not “work” in that the city will go from 0% to 100% proficiency, and it certainly won’t solve the problem overnight, but school choice has led to improved outcomes (in private and public schools) in the vast majority of places where it’s been implemented.

This "feels" like a common sense answer.

It all starts at home and until that is addressed we will only make small incremental gains.

The other factor is getting trouble makers out of the schools. Teachers simply can't do their jobs anymore because of in class disturbances.

Thethe has said the same thing many times.

I've asked many more times to tell us who else has done it

I'm starting to think the MAGA software hasn't gotten that far in the script yet

RDS is a unicorn. There have been some great governors but RDS' accomplishments as a governor can't be matched.

I agree but thethe has dismissed his accomplishments and that any R governor can do it with a red legislature.

I've been really wanting to know who the others are so I can donate to them

When I lived in Berkeley I was friends with a lecturer who taught a course on Tupac Shakur.

A few years ago I myself took an online course on the history of rock and roll. I enjoyed the marxist feminist perspective brought by the instructor.

It's all good.
