Some Red State/Blue State Indicia

This is more in line with what I find to be the actual concern with the bill, and what many, many teachers are actually protesting. Most (damn near all) teachers don’t want to delve into the topic of sexual intercourse or their genitalia with young children. It’s the fact that the law can easily be construed in a way that makes any benign conversation about gay people or couples could be in violation of the law, even in the same context that teachers would discuss straight people or couples. If Florida simply passed a bill that banned discussion of sexual topics in these grades for any reason, you wouldn’t see the same backlash, even though it’d have the same “anti-grooming” intent that Republicans claim this bill has. That didn’t happen, though.

Please continue these positions until November. I beg of you.

That's fine and all about the black but Biden has reliably assured us that white supremacists are the biggest threat in America. It's why the fbi has to to keep making it up to find them

He's already said that if his young child asks him that he would consider chemically castrating them

I don't think this is the mainstream but it's certainly not the tiny minority one would hope it is

I do remember that interaction and I was saddened to see it. he’s fallen victim to the poison. It’ll take time but we will suck out the poison from society.

I will indeed continue to hold the opinion that simply being gay doesn’t equal grooming children for sex.

Which is obvious to anyone that isn’t the 2 idiots here that think they are smart

My wife works at an elementary school and often tells me about the kids that pushed the boundaries of what was permissible and caused policy changes that ruined it for everyone else. That isn't unique to her school, so elementary school teachers in Florida should be familiar enough with the concept to recognize that the teacher activists are to blame for this. Unless they are just intellectually dishonest partisans. A great way to radicalize normal people is to mess with their kids.

I did not know thriving cities needed $100B injected into it to continue thriving

Shocker, this is fake news. 99.7 Billion is NYC's budget.

For example in 2019 prepandemic the budget was 96 million.

https://nypost.com/2022/04/26/mayor-eric-adams-delivers-address-on-99-7b-nyc-budget/

Adams’ formal budget spends $1.2 billion more than his initial plan outlined in February — and $1 billion more than the $98.7 billion budget deal his predecessor Bill de Blasio struck with lawmakers last year.

Shocker that zerohedge would spread fake news.

Not fake news. Zerohedge factually reports the size of Adams' budget proposal. Maybe lacking in a wee bit of context but who goes to zerohedge for context.

I did not know thriving cities needed $100B injected into it to continue thriving

it could be, however, that this extraneous piece of commentary is misleading

maybe just a tiny bit

the size of the budget says nothing about whether a city is thriving or not

ny is a big city and the budget reflects that

a thriving big city could have a big budget

one that is not thriving could have the same budget
