Sav I am working on a program that everyone can use to help me. I am just trying to figure out to make it an executable.
Already YNOT is going to be even better, but I like it if you all can participate better, you know the Sabermetrics of it. The only way now is have my computer be a server and there is no way in heck I am going to allow my enemies on this board have access to that and the wife is not going to allow me to pay money monthly to make it a cloud equivalent.

Yes indeed. Every other position looks like a platoon or a series of experiments to see who's got what. And Simmons, who hopefully will not try to hit 20 HR's.

I still like Joey T because he did decent starting for us and has improved his defense in the outfield. He was terrible pinch hitting mostly but seemed to get a hit and have good AB's in most starts. So I wouldn't rule him out as at least decent platoon option.
I think its still funny but at the same time excessive. I do worry that every gamethread this season is going to include basically everything bu discussion of the actual game. It should be something that is discussed and monitored moving forward as to not discourage those that want to talk about the current team.

So far it seems only the drama queens and those that prefer PD and Shanks style forum are leaving. But even they end up coming back here now and then, if only to pick a fight with some of us here.

Sure, there is a lot of that but there are also potentially really good posters that will be turned off. There is a place for all this witty banter I just hope it doesn't take over every single game thread when there are those that are still hopeful to see Braves baseball this year despite a certain player not being on the team.

I am not concerned about the game threads because IMO they have a long history of getting ugly at times. I don't expect that to change much, though I do expect the expectations to be different this year.

I think he's wrong. It's ST. Things are always like this, even in the good years. Remember the Pirates game? I think we'll see a lot of that. We're all fans, and we'll need each other to survive this season.
