Spring Training 2015

Freddie walks with a runner in scoring position. I'm sure he's not being pitched around in the 1st game of ST, but . . . better get used to it.

He will definitely set a career high in walks this year. I just hope he doesn't get too frustarted and expand the zone too much. That could really mess with him.

Wait, just so I'm clear...

The Braves score 2 runs in the first inning of ST on a couple walks, a SF and a seeing eye single, and folks are saying the offense is going to be good?

Does that about sum up the "I told you so" statements I'm seeing?

No, see, we MANUFACTURED those runs. Manufactured runs > regular ol' runs.

Wang's line: 2.0 3 0 0 0 3

Bottom 4
CJ IF single (1st pitch swing 2X today . . . well, it's spring training).
Peraza PR for Johnson, picked off first.
Callaspo flyout
The Mighty Zoilo IF single

Sounds like CJ's hit was a gift infield single as they said the infielder had time but rushed his throw and threw it wide of the bag. CJ is slow so he probably had plenty of time.

Capps pitching. Hit the first batter.

KJ in at 1B. Peraza at 2B, Gosselin for Callaspo at 3B, Bello in at C.

GO MANUFACTURE SOME RUNS, BOYS

Mets just scored two runs off Capps. So they now lead 3-2 in the game.

Also, Cedric Hunter seemed to have a good AB his last time up hitting a deep drive. But Lagares can run anything down so nothing to show for it.
