Amazon will continue to expand, and continue to make more money.
Make more money? You have to make some money before you make more of it.

Amazon isn't churning a consistent gross profit because of investment. It makes a ton of money and if they only cared about profits they'd stop expanding and make money. You can look at it otherways, but that's the crux of why they don't "make money"
Zito... This is wrong. You aren't even fact checking the **** you are throwing at the wall.
Amazon had an operating income of -241 million last year. This has nothing to do with "investments" (which is among the vaguest of uses of that term). It means that their day to day operations of their businesses lose money which is what krg and sturg were referring to. So no, that's not the crux of why they aren't "making money".
No. They reported a operating income loss of 241 million which means they lost money through their operations and not through their investments. That article just points out why their strategy works. I never disagreed with Amazon's strategy.
But their operation costs are going up because of them expanding their business, it's spelled out pretty clearly IMO.
People sure seemed to love the Bush tax cuts and education credits.
Also, anyone above the poverty level shouldn't require entitlements.

So someone who makes $12,000 shouldn't require government assistance?
In a perfect society the real answer to that question is "it depends".
In a perfect society in a perfect world. We live in neither.
But their operation costs are going up because of them expanding their business, it's spelled out pretty clearly IMO.
Well since you acknowledged its not black and white, then I hope you understand that the answer to your question isn't as obvious as you made it seem.
The only thing I acknowledged was that we don't live in a perfect society. You're the one stating that it may not be manageable even in a perfect society.
So someone who makes $12,000 shouldn't require government assistance?
I guess the better introductory question is: What job pays a full-time employee $12,000 a year?
Even on other boards some people told me that I should know my role and shut up and do what other blacks do regardless and vote Democrat.
WTF?
I thought in Murica we vote for who we want and how we want things, you know the freedom of choosing who our leaders are not because of the color of skin.
One said that I was "jaded" because I am black and should know better.
I guess he didn't like the fact that I said what has Obama done for blacks to make our lives better. He deflected and then carried the conversation on another tangent.
If Democraps want my vote, then quit lying, quit deflecting, do something to earn that vote and not talk about. At leats Republicans will attempt to help you, if you help yourselves and won't lie to you to get your vote. Remember that.
