The entitlement of these pricks is amazing. They steal from the working class and then demand to be treated as some sort of intellectual superior.
There is nothing worse than academia
Folks like this guy I find the most perplexing. Maybe I’m wrong, but I imagine most people studying information technology are doing so for the career path it leads to, not because they have some deep intellectual yearning. This guy is already an IT systems administrator per the article, a job with an average salary in the $70-85/year range, according to Google. I have to figure that once he’s armed with a master’s degree in the field, he’s pretty well-equipped to take whatever the next step is in that particular career path (or else why exactly is he making the graduate school investment?). This isn’t some starving artist type without easily translatable skills. He says he doesn’t have a plan - might I suggest getting the $100k job he’s qualified for and using a portion of his monthly income to pay back the loan he took out?
