Sunday vs reds...Going for series win (no FF)

Julio is the kind of pitcher if you just sit there and be patient he’ll walk you. Granted he had someone struck out and the ump missed the call, but he nibbles way too much. In the playoffs a team like the Dodgers are going to grind him into the ground. He’ll likely be at around 75-80 pitches after 3-4 and have given up a few runs with baserunners all over the place.

Having Teheran make starts for us in the playoffs takes our odds of winning a playoff series from 0% to -10%.

It's not that hes a bad pitcher. He just doesn't have elite velocity so he has no choice but to nibble. When your fastball tops out at 91 MPH you really don't have much margin of error when throwing right over the plate.
