I believe floor for 4th would be 10. But the bad news there is that Washington, LAA and St Louis could all be locked into those 10-12 spots. I think the chance of us going from 4 to 10 was less than 1% though.

If we lose the Marlins are 5 up on us. With 14 games left that would be hard to lose that much ground with the way we've been playing.

So do I. It may come down to that Pittsburg series. I'm hoping for top 3 and the SS from UCLA slides to us somehow.

Braves will need to finish a game worse than the Twins since the Braves swept that series this year. Looking at remaining schedules for both teams, that looks like a tall task.

The Braves will probably randomly sweep the Tigers and wind up screwing things up.

We should lose today against Valdez so maybe the Pirates and Twins can pull one out today. A lot of ours may come down to that Pirates series. That last week there should be no reason we see Acuna or Sale play. Don't risk it.

The Braves will probably randomly sweep the Tigers and wind up screwing things up.

Shades of 2016 when the Braves had a top 2 pick lined up and finished the year picking 5th. They finished the year 12-2 after they reached the bottom of 56-91.

They did get Kyle Wright who was extremely helpful to the organization, but picked in front of them that next draft was Royce Lewis, Mackenzie Gore and Hunter Greene.

My understanding is that ties are based off the previous years record not the current years season series
