Ted Cruz

Sturg's rates increased 79% = just like Fox News said - to the dime

Ours wasn't that bad because of what my boss did. He negotiated it down. All companies have that option. My boss took the middle man out of it, he said taking that route saved 10%.

is that 20% more than what it was in 2012 or 20% of the ~78-9% ?
If it is the total that would be 98% which is the percentile my kids were in in 6th grade reading and math.
Coincidence? I think not

oh, I believe you. Still haven't shopped elsewhere though have you? Or would it make your boss mad?
You and AA should have the same boss - cause if you did his (your) boss would go and negotiate with the source providers instead of dealing with the insurance companies -
One thing I have never been clear on -- is this the first time you've had to pay for health insurance -- like on your own -- 100%

Getting back to Todd Cruz and net neutrality ---------------- please.
I took for granted y'all would be tripping over yourselves congratulating the administration for taking the stand they did.

Whoops -- my bad

78% last year. 20% more this year.

I already outlined the math for you. Sorry you don't believe me.

He has to now. I can back up what you said. We did not get hurt as badly as you and my boss/owner took matters to his own hand. He doesn't want to lose people to Minneapolis corporations so he made it affordable to us, plus giving a raise that is meaningful. Yeah, our deductible will go up but the analysis said most of the cost was Urgent Care and physicals (blood test) which was like $1200 a pop. He took those out of the equations. Surgeries he can't do anything about but specialize things and just normal routine he can. So he was able to secure a few doctors, techs and the Quest Lab to procure our services taking hospitals and ACA out of the loop. They weren't happy, but when he said quadruple charges is wrong and hiding behind the ACA I will fight it and he basically won that fight but he doesn't want to deal with again.

Thank you. You ask a legit question and when I got all the answers I told.

Don't get me wrong there is some good in that bill but cost a lot and I do understand businesses getting rid of people with existing conditions, especially cancer. I never had to pay an exuberant cost for health care. Government, pro basketball, Lockheed Martin, Rockwell Collins and now where I am at. I had it good. I can understand how some people really need it but what bothers me is that HOSPITALS and INSURANCE companies are running a SCAM, straight up scam. My surgery should have cost $12k not what now #33k, for a simple stomach surgery.

20% on top of this year's rate.

I actually did shop the exchange just for fun. I was kind of blown away by the numbers. I still have a great deal. But it is steadily increasing because we continue to have add coverage for folks who we previously did not. Of course, the young healthy people have to subsidize those costs.

I've been paying my own since college.

Yeah, when did he stop being the fair-haired boy?

He's still very popular with the base in my neck of the woods.

Never has been the fair-haired boy for me (and I'm a smaller gov't, moral conservative). He's a political opportunist hack (most politicians are to a certain degree). His little stunt at the conference with Middle Eastern Christians was just the icing on the cake.
