Texas elementary school shooting…

We need cops at the schools to prevent this!

Somehow looking at and implementing what every other country has done to stop these from happening is somehow not an answer?

No wonder this keeps happening

“Maybe we should do the same things the people did that stopped this from happening?”

“That isnt a solution that would work!”

Lol

It's the same thing as common core math. Because kids were being taught how to actually utilize and process numbers, rather than use tricks of memorization to help them like generations before, the parents got mad because the math was too hard for even them to explain. Common core math is basics of what higher scoring kids in other countries learned at a fundamental level.

If you're a real patriot, then America is #1 in all things. Thus, using another country's sucess to help our own problems isn't logical because if America is #1 there are no problems to begin with.

I'll go back to what I always say when this happens. When I was in high school in the 90s there were dozens of guns in parking lot every day, and no school shootings. Something besides access to guns changed that, so why is access to guns always looked at as the solution?

1000%

Imagine thinking putting a tax on something that cost 20$ to be deterrent to someone going to kill 21 people and kill their grandmother

Easily the Worst addition to the song “imagine” I’ve ever heard

Yep

And they blame mental illness but don’t fight to fund things for it or keep guns out of the hands with mental illness

It’s a sham

Like saying “foreign aid should be spent here!” But if we spent it here, they cry communism etc etc

my favorite is when sturg uses ron paul's quote of "let's start doing some nation building here!" but any proposals to spend on infrastructure, green initiatives, etc. all get tossed out because of it being communist.

You can't build mass public transportation to give people options than just buying a car and gas, because that would be communism. And you can't raise taxes on the rich to pay for these things because it's oppression and tyranny.

The 'merican way is to spend the first 18 years falling behind the rest of the world. The next four (for those who go to college) catching up. And anything beyond that pulling ahead. Makes for a highly stratified society in terms of skills, knowledge, productivity and income.

Social media ?

Creates jobs and stimulates the economy.

I see two wins and an active deterrent.

It’s when I read things like this, I’m seriously not sure the type of country “conservatives” are fighting to create

Armed Police substations at every school?

Have you been to countries where heavily armed cops or military are at entrances of things?

This idea that “we never do anything” is so disingenuous.

In the past 10 years, New York passed a gun manufacturer liability law, a red flag law, the SAFE act - all loaded with provisions that gun control activists have clamored for for years. None of which prevented a white supremacist nutjob from shooting 13 people in Buffalo this month, using legally obtained weapons.

Lol the circle jerk of nonsense with seals sav and Goldy is entertaining.

Their software so beautifully written they are building on each other

And don't forget about the black shooter who was memory holed a couple weeks ago.bc he had the wrong race

Who said anything about heavily armed cops at the entrances ?

What's most sad is the excitement liberals get when there is a new shooting they can politicize. Reminds me of when they were actively cheering on red state COVID deaths a couple years ago

This post is less surprising than when I see the sun rise from the East each morning

Excited?

God you’re such a miserable piece of ****

Where are we putting the cops in your scenario?

Are we not arming them well?

Cause a cop was there for this one and obviously was out gunned

Called that one

All right, I'll spill the beans.

Based on the wiki data we had 1.1 mass shootings per year at schools in the 1990s. The good old days before rap music, social media, video games, smart phones, chaos on the southern border and favorable portrayal of trans people corrupted our yute.

Since then we have had 16 in 22 years (hope someone will double check my work).
