Do EVs even reduce carbon emissions? The battery production and charging energy is all fossil fuel based. You're just moving it around
Meanwhile, it would be a lot easier to take climate alarmists more seriously if they included nuclear and nat gas in their solutions... But those don't offer massive payouts and government control so they ain't interested
EV is much better for the environment long term than continuously putting more and more ICE cars on the road and people complaining about gas prices.
Less maintenance for EV vehicles. No oil changes. No having to swap out batteries once every year. No having to buy motor oil.
I have a feeling even when EV vehicles start taking over a bigger part of the market, demand will go lower, and oil companies will just adjust the production to maintain a $3-$3.50 average at the pump.
They're not going to diminish their profit margins just because people move to EV.
It costs less than $20 to fully charge a Tesla. And that charge will last two weeks minimum for regular commutes. Teslas aren't exerting fumes while idling at a red light.
