The Biden Presidency

I support workers getting paid more if they are creating more value. What value is being created with this 62% increase?

I don't support a fast food minimum wage increase to $20/hr in California. Do you?

I personally believe dock workers are empire essential to the domestic economy and skilled than fast food workers but I understand your tendency to go back to irrelevant comparisons.

But no - I don’t support food service workers in McDonald’s making 20 an hour when it should be a launching pad to another career. What we need to do is ensure that low skilled labor opportunities are prevalent elsewhere like manufacturing work. Then the jobs are available.

He felt it was in his best interest to play into the Hitler narrative.

He is obviously a liar, because he is not stupid

You know how you're always telling me "you used to say elections are stolen! So you can't be taken seriously today"

Please apply that same standard to the dude who called Trump Hitler

What would that best interest be and why wasn’t it his best interest to continue to push that narrative?

Why are the port workers with 62% more today than they were yesterday?

Because a union strike? Every employee at McDonald's could choose to strike tomorrow, and they may get a temporary wage increase because of it. But the reality is, unions destroy competency and value. It's why police unions suck. It's why teacher unions suck. There is no incentive to be good at your job, because there is a collective (think communist) force against the market

Thethe from 2 years ago would be blasting this union boss for threatening to **** down the country and whining about how ez pass made everyone's lives better except for the toll booth worker. Unions are why cabs still mandate that Uber be regulated. And why shifty teachers cannot be fired

Unions are a darling of the communist left, and lo and behold, Trump has mandated his idiot base to be pro union now

Bc back then he didn't think Trump was going to take over the party, and today, he had realized he has

Look, if you want to make the argument that Vance was a 57-level retard in 2020, you can

But I think Vance is smart and he realized the same people who go to bat for baby murder will go to bat for him being the future of the party.

He ain't dumb

In a private communication? What narrative was he playing into and how did it benefit him? You said it was in his best interest. The Hitler comment was in 2016 I believe. Donnie are you talking about something else?

You think dockworkers have the same value as McDonald’s employees?

CN we also revisit how you genuinely believed that RDS stopped this strike which was resolved because the dockworkers got more than their original demands? Are we entering cultish territory?

Dockworkers didn’t get the Automation ban in this agreement from what I read.

The motivation to automate those jobs when up 62% yesterday.

I'm sure we will have a more stable country when we automate blue collar labor.

It won't be until white collar laptop work gets automated that you'll take notice.

That's how it has been going for centuries now. New technology reduces the number of workers needed but increases the productivity and wages of those remaining. My guess is the membership of this union skews fairly old and they are ok with retirement and buyouts thinning out their ranks as their wages go up.

Here’s pro-tip for you.

All of the jobs are going to be automated, honey. It’s just going to start with low skill ones first.

Not all. It doesn't happen that way. People who want jobs will have them. It is just some technology is labor replacing and some is labor augmenting. There is always a mix and people will shift toward jobs augmented by technology.

Sure thing.

The mob boss said they were prepared to drag this out for months

Ron DeSantis announced he would replace their labor overnight to keep Americans getting the stuff (think, America first!)

The mob boss then took a deal a couple hours later

I LOVE that you're a union lover now. It's beyond hilarious what the orange dude has gotten you to

Fast food workers have no appreciable skill. More skilled labor however, does in fact create more value.

I don't pretend to know the full details of dock worker jobs, but if it's a lot unloading boxes from ships, it's a job I did (quite well) when I was 15

At the automated ports the jobs are different. A smaller number of workers are needed to make sure the automated machinery is working properly.
