I see no where in the constitution where is specifically days people cant protest outside justices houses. That's mocking their logic for their decision btw, since I know you need this stuff explained to you. I wonder how much you want a law banning things meant to influence or intimidate a judge to be enforced.




Also, would you now agree with me that we need some way to hold people accountable to the law if the DA or prosecutor with jurisdiction refuses?

According to 18 U.S. Code § 1507: "Whoever, with the intent of interfering with, obstructing, or impeding the administration of justice, or with the intent of influencing any judge, juror, witness, or court officer, in the discharge of his duty, pickets or parades in or near a building housing a court of the United States, or in or near a building or residence occupied or used by such judge, juror, witness, or court officer, or with such intent uses any sound-truck or similar device or resorts to any other demonstration in or near any such building or residence, shall be fined under this title or imprisoned not more than one year, or both."

I'm willing to bet you don't know why this statute was put in. Look it up.

Wray said he didn't have the spare personnel to take care of it. lol

It was a Fed issue and Wray gave a weak excuse why he didn't enforce the law. I never said anything about approval so I don't know where that came from.

Regardless of all the mumbo jumbo you've put on here trying to sidetrack what I said the fact is that the DOJ/FBI ignored it.

So if prosecutors on the case think they have enough evidence to charge and convict the only reasonable assumption if the prosecutors boss tells them to drop it is corruption? Right?

It's not a local issue. It's a federal statute, you dip****. If what you said was true Wray would have said that as an excuse. It's the same reason the FBI has been involved in the arrest of people at the abortion clinics, not the locals.

DC is all federal. Who do they call when someone breaking into their house? Who do they call when someone robs a bank? The FBI and DoJ dont do the day to day policing in DC. You arent going to get any sympathy from me about selective enforcement of the law by a DA or prosecutor. You would be preaching to the choir on that issue. Selective law enforcement is wrong but I want a solution for everyone not just when your team is affected by it. Little known fact, local prosecutors are the most powerful people in America.

*sigh* That's not how it works. It was the FBI and DOJ jurisdiction's because a federal statute, 18 U.S. Code § 1507, was broken. Take the L and move on.

"The residential picketing appears to run afoul of a 1950 federal law — Title 18, Section 1507, of the U.S. Code — that makes it illegal to picket or parade outside a jurist’s home “with the intent of influencing any judge.” Violations are punishable by a fine and up to a year in prison."

I'm going to keep saying this until you get it through your thick head that this is a federal law. That's why the FBI was involved in the arresting of abortion protestors in Tennessee because they are accused of breaking the FACE Act, which is a federal statute.
