DC is all federal. Who do they call when someone breaking into their house? Who do they call when someone robs a bank? The FBI and DoJ dont do the day to day policing in DC. You arent going to get any sympathy from me about selective enforcement of the law by a DA or prosecutor. You would be preaching to the choir on that issue.
