As a parent that phone call is literally the bare minimum of your son is in that kinda shape. Like just a notch above ignoring it completely which as a parent I could never do.

I think it’s a bit of an overreaction due to the nature of how we learned of the voicemail. Hannity and Fox News trying to turn it into something ugly and a strike against Biden is slimy and gross. It really isn’t surprising in that context that some would swing the pendulum the other way. It seems to be an example of Biden showing kindness to a son he loves who is struggling, so I don’t see it as surprising that there’d be a harsh rebuke to using it as a way of scoring political points against him.

Why would I care what Trump's lawyer said?

The democratic party said this was impeachable. We're they lying? Or did trump convince them they were wrong? That doesn't make sense though bc they still voted for it

I never thought I would see the day Republicans were so extreme they consider Sean Hannity a RINO. Good lord. This is like of someone in the Democrat party said AoC was a moderate Republican.

What does one have to do with the other? If I get charged with a crime can I use "why are you prosecuting me when inflation is 1200%" as a defense. Maybe all prosecutors should be required to prove why their individual case is more important than a single national issue. "Sure your honor I robbed that bank, but who cares about that Russia is invading Ukraine". No doubt you, Mr consistency, would be making these same excuses for Hillary.
