The Coronavirus, not the beer

Covid also hasn't withstood that critical variable. And mRNA has been studied for vaccine use for over 30 years. Covid has been studied for less than two.

Long form covid is yet another overstated panic porn narrative.

We are failing our children and people are cheering it on.

I'm not even talking about long form covid. I'm talking about issues like damage to organs causing long term problems. One study this summer showed covid can cause a long term loss in gray matter in the brain resulting in neurological symptoms such as attention problems and forgetfulness.

So we still don't know what effects fully recovered people might have from damage done to their bodies by Covid.

It’s probably overstated fear porn, just like people worrying about long term effects of the vaccine. The point is the time variable is a factor for both.

There is zero need to vaccinated children. Absolutely zero.

There are statistically zero risk.

If you have an obese child or one that has other pre-existing conditions then I get it.

But we are introducing a risk where a risk didn't exist prior.

And the kids will still get COVID regardless of the vaccine or not as we have seen so all you're doing is introducing an unnecessary risk.

Seems there's only 2 groups of people in the US now - those that got the vaccine and think everyone should and those that didn't and don't think anyone should.

I feel alone... I got the first dose, but got covid shortly after. Bc I got natural immunity, I don't feel the need for the 2nd dose. I don't care who gets it or who doesn't

I disagree.

I personally setup and drove my father to get the vaccine.

I think there is a large subset of the population that not only shouldn't be getting the vaccine but by getting it they are negatively impacting our recovery.

Covid infections with the vaccine are less severe. You get systemic protections from the vaccine which can make infections more superficial and far less likely to cause any long term damage to organs. The studies right now are showing that Delta is very good at replicating in the nose which lets infections take hold there but that the vaccine usually prevents it from going further. So it mitigates the risk of long term damage.

You're also saying there's no risk for children. That's not true. The risk to children is extremely low but not zero. However, everything we know points to the risk of the vaccine being way, way less than the risk of Covid.

And we also don't know the long term effects Covid might have on kids. Infections can have very mild symptoms with low mortality and yet still cause brain problems.

The unknowns and risks with the vaccines are less.

And again, vaccinating children would help reduce the spread to family members that are at higher risk of dying from Covid.

This is complete hogwash with absolutely no basis to make this claim.
