The Coronavirus, not the beer

I mean it clearly says

"Are specially labeled “surgical” N95 respirators, as those should be prioritized for healthcare personnel"

Like you want the CDC to spend more time and money making it clear? Here's a hint it won't matter, no one will believe anyone about anything because there's so much disinformation going out there on all sides.

Oh boy.

I hear 20+ "get vaxxed" ads per day on the radio, plus numerous billboards.

So yeah, I think they could handle some simple messaging.

I asked a few pages ago, but maybe more of our middle\leftist friends missed it so I'll try again.

Has your view of Covid 19, or the pandemic and response changed over the past 8 months? (In any way, and if so please share).

I've gone from believing most of the decisions were good faith attempts to control the spread based on science to thinking they were somewhere between ignorant attempts at CYA and Rahm Emanuel's mantra of never letting a crisis go to waste. It's been clear for a while that masks, mandates, and school closings weren't helping.

Biden publicly thanked Trump yesterday for the vaccine development...

Call me a conspiracy theorist, but I'll bet that is to lay the groundwork for the "blame Trump & GOP for the ineffective/bad vaccines" campaign strategy

Trump falls for it every time.

I'm almost 100% of the way there that we need a new messenger. Just afraid nobody is willing to take that mantle yet.

How are we still here believing that the vaccine prevents infection?

Because the president (Fraudulent) of the United States keeps telling people that they won't get it if they are vaccinated.

Much more dangerous than any lie the previous guy said about crowd sizes but of course the media covered that like it was Watergate.

It really is a shame that Trump let himself be fooled by the fake experts.

His instincts were 100% on point.

But now he is so connected the vaccines that he won't budge and its going to cost him.

If we didn't do insane lockdowns we would be past COVID for months. Maybe a year.

How much time and money would it cost to start the “DO choose masks that” list with “N95s that aren’t specifically labeled surgical”? I’m sure one of their 21,000 full time employees could fit it in before lunch.

I mean it's cute thinking that average employees can design, code, or even use Website software to program a site. But beyond that it doesn't change my point.

Which is about the same as last year to date, but this shows a big difference...

Isn't this your side's go to on "real" deaths? Maine also has a huge gap this year from last

Projected lower deaths because of pandemic, but said pandemic is still raging and people are shocked? Look at the numbers. Vermont in a year with 12 months of raging pandemic has less deaths than in one with 9.

Just like Brazil

You ****ing moron.

Weird that you stopped saying India.

Brazil is a large and in most cases poor densely populated area. Nothing would have changed what happened (Aside from therapeutics).

But its ok Zeets - Continue to be wrong. Its amusing.

No you said "If we didn't do insane lockdowns we would be past COVID for months. Maybe a year."

Brazil tried that. Their president was huge on HCQ, etc. and Brazil is one of the hardest hit countries by the Pandemic.

I coudl list india too. Want to count them as a win?

https://www.cgdev.org/publication/t...use-excess-mortality-during-covid-19-pandemic

"First, extrapolation of state-level civil registration from seven states suggests 3.4 million excess deaths. Second, applying international estimates of age-specific infection fatality rates (IFR) to Indian seroprevalence data implies a higher toll of around 4 million. Third, our analysis of the Consumer Pyramid Household Survey, a longitudinal panel of over 800,000 individuals across all states, yields an estimate of 4.9 million excess deaths. "

So yeah somewhere between 3 and 5 million excess deaths is something to champion.

Oh hey - Excess deaths mean something again now that we aren't talking about Vermont.

Cool
