When you're so misinformed as to think that 40% of COVID infections result in hospitalizations I'm not surprised at these results.

The Democrats are a party of ****ing morons. Case closed.

The reasonable ones are moving to red states and will quietly identify as Independent now.

It does follow from that great Maher clip from a few months back…Democrats were (presumably still are) grossly misinformed on the risk of COVID

I've never in my life seen such a large collection of fools completely resistant to learn from the facts on the ground.

Its not surprising as half the country wanted a great President removed not because of his performance but because of things he tweeted.

You do realize Delta, the wave that brough massive deaths to the south is still out there? And reducing your risk from Omicron probably is smart as deaths are high. Just because less people are dying from it doesen't mean protecting yourself isn't smart. Based on tracked stats in the US you're about 15-20 times more likely to die from COVID if you're not vaccinated as if you're fully vaccinated.

The vaccines weren't designed for delta either. They just had some 'crossover' protection.

The inception to date stats are irrelevant. We have a variant that is no worse than a cold. Vaccines are effectively useless now but I still support those at risk to get them.
 
All this talk of 6 month old kids getting a vaccine that still is not FDA approved is flat out shocking. No one reading into the numbers would encourage their child to get this, but yet there Pharma CEO's are pushing it.
