Wonderful news

Now is the time for Cuomo, Harris, etc. to walk back some of their anti-vaccine rhetoric. I’m not concerned with red states. If they are propositioned the choice between mask mandates and lockdowns vs vaccines, they will take this vaccine (especially since this will have the Trump seal of approval).

With Democrats, there was some damage done during the debate when Harris questioned the efficacy of a vaccine developed under Trump.

I agree. The cost of preparation will be extreme but the cost on unpreparedness is just heinous. We need far, far greater stockpiles of PPE, far greater stockpiles of medical equipment of various kinds, and the ability to put a rapid testing plan in place at a moment's notice. The cost of shutting down the country for a month was staggering.

There should be a bipartisan consensus on "supply chain nationalism." There are certain things we just should not outsource.

I had a similar thought. For sure employers and schools will want to see proof of vaccination. That combined with an aggressive state outreach program for those not in record with a vaccine will probably be sufficient.

I didn’t say she was anti-vaccine. I said she shared an anti-vaccine message.

“if Donald Trump tells us we should take it, I'm not going to take it.”

This isn’t hard. All I said was she should make a point to come out and be supportive of the Pfizer announcement to undo some of the damage she did during the debate.

That’s fine if you feel that way. I disagree (in what world would a vaccine be announce and distributed on his word alone). Don’t really care all that much to debate. It was a stupid comment for her to make.
